Kailali : Chief Minister of Sudur Pashchim Province Trilochan Bhatta has said that media persons have an important role to transform the society.
While inaugurating a function organized to mark the 10th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Kailali chapter here on Monday, CM Bhatta urged the media persons to maintain impartiality while disseminating the news.
On another note, he said that the provincial government was working in coordination with the opposition parties on major agendas.
On the occasion, various journalists were feted for their long service in the media field.
